Brittannie Moroz is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Lynchburg, VA and licensed to provide teletherapy services in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Brittannie is passionate about providing effective therapy services to individuals that have previously experienced trauma. She works with clients whose trauma came from neglect in childhood, abusive relationships as an adult, being a victim of a crime, or many other situations. This trauma manifests differently for each individual, and can include panic attacks, prolonged periods of sadness, difficulty trusting others, feeling detached from an authentic self, and negative self-views. Brittannie provides trauma-informed therapy services, which means that she has additional training in how to ensure that all clients feel comfortable, safe, and secure in the therapy environment. She enjoys cultivating strong therapeutic relationships and supporting clients in making sense of their current troubles in the context of their life stories. To help clients metabolize their painful experiences, she may offer evidence-based therapy modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing or Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Her work is client-led, as she collaborates with each client on their treatment plan and honors the person's expertise in their own life experiences. Brittannie’s goal in her therapy practice is for clients to feel seen, heard, understood, and known. She strives to create an atmosphere of non judgment, compassion, and empowerment as clients prioritize their mental health. She brings mindfulness into sessions and believes in holistic healing.
